Connect with the Community College System of NH (CCSNH)
CCSNH, through its seven colleges across the state, provides academic programming and manages job training programs through its college-based workforce development offices to make sure businesses have the employees they need now and in the future. CCSNH credit and non-credit programs are designed to prepare individuals for today’s job market and/or for successful college transfer. The goal: achieve 65 x 25, or for 65 percent of NH adults age 25 or older to earn some form of training beyond high school by the year 2025.

WorkReadyNH is a free workforce development program tailored to meet the needs of job seekers and career builders. The program provides training in the specific skills employers are looking for in current and future employees and is open to all sectors.

The ApprenticeshipNH program, housed at the Community College System of New Hampshire and funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a unique effort that prepares individuals through Registered Apprenticeship programs to more effectively participate in the modern workforce. Focusing on the advanced manufacturing, construction and infrastructure, healthcare, hospitality and information technology sectors, the program provides NH residents with invaluable opportunities to earn and learn by pursuing highly-skilled, high-paying jobs, and opportunities for employers seeking to build a qualified workforce in NH.
Connect with educators and training programs through NH Works
NH Works promotes life-long learning by partnering with businesses, agencies and organizations to bring the state’s education, employment and training programs together. This workforce development system will provide the means for NH residents to gain sufficient skills, education, employment and financial independence.
Offer Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) at your company
Extended Learning Opportunities are the practical, real-world experiences that allow students to study or learn a trade outside of the traditional classroom setting. These learning opportunities create a well-versed workforce that meets the needs of NH businesses. A few examples include apprenticeships, internships and independent studies.
Get involved with New Hampshire Sector Partnerships Initiative (SPI)
SPI is an industry-driven effort for NH businesses to convene and collaborate on workforce solutions and identify funding opportunities for training programs. SPI focuses on five sectors critical to the NH economy: construction and infrastructure, healthcare, hospitality, advanced manufacturing and information technology and is open to all sectors.
